While living in Weyauwega Robert Bloch penned the thriller, PSYCHO, in 1959. He used various landmarks around Weyauwega and Waupaca county in the book. In 1960 Alfred Hitchock released the movie based on Bloch's book. For the 50th anniversary of the publication of the book, WEGA ARTS will be hosting a dinner and showing of the movie. Art Class Starts September 20th
3rd annual art class for the M&I Bank calendar. Classes are Sundays from 2-5pm. Classes will be held on Sundays from 2pm - 5pm at the Opera House. The new Art Club Starts on September 15th and will meet at 3:30 on Tuesdays. Kids can meet to work on group or independant art projects. Read more...

Algae Man Spotted in Lake Weyauwega!!
While attempting some pleasure boating on Lake Weyauwega recently, a group of children were confronted by what appeared to be an 'Algae Man'. A bystander was able to capture this photo before the 'Algae Man' disappeared into the weeds. The kids were quite shocked. One of the children, Patrick Kepler exclaimed, "I thought my mom put him up to it because I wouldn't eat my broccoli last night". We hope to find out more about the 'Algae Man' so stay tuned.
